Entryway
The entrance to your home is the first and last impression guests have when visiting, so make it a reflection of you.
This entryway originally had dark grey walls, tired shag carpet, a dark brown stair railing, and a 1990s builder-grade light fixture. Needless to say, it needed an update. Custom millwork is a great way to put your home in a league of its own and make it something that is uniquely you. We began by framing out the front door, including the windows above for a big impact. Next, we wrapped the entire entryway with board and batten that carried up the stairs. The lighter walls contrast beautifully with the front door and painted stair railing, and also inspired the black and white gallery wall made up of the clients’ own travel photos. A neutral textured carpet and caged chandelier finish off this fresh update.
